INJECTORS

INJECTORS
The electro-injector is an electromechanical device, which is directly controlled by the gas ECU. It is in charge of the gas dosage coming from the vaporizer and directed to each cylinder.

It is made up of an electromagnetic reel/shutter device that opens/closes the nozzles in less than three milliseconds, comparable to those of normal petrol injectors.
The electro-injectors are normally closed. The gas ECU sends them electric impulses commanding the opening, thus allowing the gas to pass through the nozzle.

The outer body of the electro-injector unit is made of diamagnetic materials, resistant to corrosion and temperatures typical of the engine compartment.
The input connection of the electro-injector is realised via a connector to the tube coming from the vaporizer and the output connection via a nozzle calibrated to the tube connected to the intake manifold near the intake valve. The section of the nozzle exiting from the electro-injector is suitable chosen in relation to the engine’s specific power class.
