LPG SOLENOID VALVE

LPG SOLENOID VALVE
The engine compartment liquid phase LPG solenoid valve is an intercepting device for the liquid LPG coming from the tank and directed to the vaporiser. It is installed just upstream of the vaporizer in accordance with the UNECE R67-01 regulation.

It consists of an electromagnet that by activating a shutter opens the valve allowing the LPG to pass. Therefore, it is a “normally closed” device that prevents the LPG from passing when electricity is not supplied.

Furthermore, the solenoid valve body contains a filter (a filtering capacity of up to 10 µm) to hold any solid impurities present in the LPG liquid.
